New Gear Release 2022!

Anyone see this?

Saw that. I watched the instructional video and thought the way he used the alternating step aider was interesting since you usually see people orient their feet with their toes to the tree. He put the side of his foot against the tree. I’m skeptical that the system would be much fun on trees that lean.

I think the single step system will work better than we might give it credit for at first glance. I bet you can use some type of treatment to stiffen the webbing to keep it open too.

Could end up being a quiet quick system of the buckles are small and light and easy to thread the ends.

One of those “execution is everything” type products.

Has my attention

I don't have this product but my stuff is really similar so I think I can confidently say that climbing off an anchor point with a long aider like that is not problem on leaning trees. U stay on the gravity side of the tree and using ur linesman belt it's easier/safer than climbing with a stick/sticks on the top side of the lean.....imo
Physical fitness/balance/core strength required...so not for everybody hanging into space like that but not difficult

That Linesman's sure dropped low in that instructional video....pretty skeptical about the double loop substituting a platform but I sure wish this was available before I spent freaking week and half hand sewing my stirrups and aider

I changed my mind. I thought they were individual strap on steps with webbing loop instead of metal or plastic.

No interest in multi step aiders that don’t make full contact with tree across their entire length.

Weldabeast climbs very similar to this with a wide stirrup set up. While it’s a pretty easy way to climb the tree and it’s also safe as long as you tend your ropes properly, there is no way in the world I’d stay in the stirrups at height instead of a platform. That is some foot pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy

Chad gave an update on the first episode of the CRUZR podcast regarding the seeker mini platform (3lb 3 oz) and their climbing sticks. The stand passed load testing at 1400lb load. Stands are expected to hit the site during season.

the sticks are still going through design changes and likely won’t be ready until December or later.

Im sick of companies saying 3 weeks and it turning into double….triple or quadruple of what they say. Really turns me off of what they have to offer. Just tell me you don’t know instead of blowing smoke….

I feel ya, or just simple say we don’t know. Don’t just keep changing it.
