Yeah the thing is heavy on top of all the valid points @kyler1945 has made.I can't believe nobody has mentioned that the Sumpter weighs about 6lbs.
We only gripe about ounces not pounds manI can't believe nobody has mentioned that the Sumpter weighs about 6lbs.
Ounces make pounds, pounds make pain. Why do you think I cut all the teeth off of my comb but one? 'Course I'm follically impaired anyway so it's mostly for scratching skeeter bites. We only gripe about ounces not pounds man

I don't have this product but my stuff is really similar so I think I can confidently say that climbing off an anchor point with a long aider like that is not problem on leaning trees. U stay on the gravity side of the tree and using ur linesman belt it's easier/safer than climbing with a stick/sticks on the top side of the lean.....imoSaw that. I watched the instructional video and thought the way he used the alternating step aider was interesting since you usually see people orient their feet with their toes to the tree. He put the side of his foot against the tree. I’m skeptical that the system would be much fun on trees that lean.

Weldabeast climbs very similar to this with a wide stirrup set up. While it’s a pretty easy way to climb the tree and it’s also safe as long as you tend your ropes properly, there is no way in the world I’d stay in the stirrups at height instead of a platform. That is some foot pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemyAnyone see this?

Looks pretty gimmicky…
No affiliations just ran in to it
Chad gave an update on the first episode of the CRUZR podcast regarding the seeker mini platform (3lb 3 oz) and their climbing sticks. The stand passed load testing at 1400lb load. Stands are expected to hit the site during season.
the sticks are still going through design changes and likely won’t be ready until December or later.
I feel ya, or just simple say we don’t know. Don’t just keep changing it.Im sick of companies saying 3 weeks and it turning into double….triple or quadruple of what they say. Really turns me off of what they have to offer. Just tell me you don’t know instead of blowing smoke….
@Bowtie747 you know you’ll still buy a set of sticksI feel ya, or just simple say we don’t know. Don’t just keep changing it.
