No… comes with 1 cam strap, extra button to install if wanted, nice back pack straps and a 1.0 seat cushion with extra holes to mount to the smaller seat.

The .5 I had last year I put rubber tubing ware the back pack straps attached.

Better integration with the doublesteps. More tees for tying stuff to. Bosses for their new bow holder all around the stand and they are offering a taller seat post option.

I wonder if the bow holder will work on the older 1.0 and .5?

It will. They are coming with bolts and crush washers to mount on older stands

What’s wrong with the .5? Between it and the 1.0… I have the 2 best stands on the market. I just spent about 15 mins whacking the edges down a bit with emery cloth. Can’t even tell… it’s smooth as a babies ass now.

Helo arrived today, I really like it., but for me I would change 2 thngs if I could. The seat post would be shorter by an inch or 2 and the seat is way to big. If Novix could get the mold from the first Alpha and add a way to level it (1st choice) or the seat off the 8.5 (2nd choice). I'm 5"4 130lbs so my wants may not match those of someone bigger.

I’m not sure why they can’t offer a machined seat. It would lighten it and you could get multiple seats from one billet.

Or offer a reduced size. It really doesn’t need to be as big as it is.

I have a .5 but I'll be keeping the Helo. Sometimes its a better choice to leave the stand hanging for a more silent exit on the afternoon hunts. I'm not going to be to keen on leaving the .5 hanging just anywhere, so the Helo gives me a great stand for 2/5 of the price of the .5 and I can use it in those risky places.

I agree, it most likly came down to the price of making a new mold or out sorceing the maching. I may have to see what i can cut off the seat and it still be safe. I think I could make it much smaller if I was just going to set on it but sometimes I stand on it to cut limbs or attach my safety rope so better to be safe than sorry.

Since I’m wearing a saddle, I’m probably just going to take the seat off and try it a few sits. I’ll save 2# and reduce my carry profile.

You can't beat the .5 I was sorry after I sold my .5 stands to you but glad you like it!!
