Overwatch Orion

I've yet to have it slip. It holds very solid and no saddle sag what so ever. Nice for the walk in and even hanging sticks. I'd get ahold of Jamie and talk with him on it. Will do basically whatever idea you have! I just went with the rope belt alone with no buckle.
Yep just dm @JCLINE84 and he’ll hook you up with whatever you want. I also went with a rope belt only and my saddle with loaded dump pouches and my 1 stick attached weighs 12lbs. Belt never loosened.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm really, really close to pulling the trigger.!

How is a rope belt handle walking in.
These guys have me really leaning towards rope belts after trying the ones I’ve built for them. They just don’t move once you tighten them. The only downside I can see is if you carry a lot of weight on your saddle. In theory that would make your rope cut into your waist a bit. Maybe these guys have tried them with weight and can let us know.

Right? Makes me wish I had gone with a rope belt on mine haha. I need to quit seeing this thread!

I walked a little over a half mile with this setup that weighs 12lbs including the saddle and it didn’t sag at all and I never had to stop and readjust. You definitely feel the rope but I didn’t think it was that bad. Probably could go a mile like this but anymore and I’d attach my stick and rappel rope to a backpack.

I got the rope belt and don’t regret it one bit. It’s awesome. I was nervous I wouldn’t like it but I now much prefer it for the same reason Jamie said.

It doesn’t slip at all and your waist doesn’t pinch on a buckle.

I won’t use anything but a rope belt now. Can hang as much weight off it as you want.. doesn’t move. Also, once in hunting position it’s so easy to loosen And slide off to the side. IMO It’s a must over a buckle belt. While walking in there is no fiddle with it either. Tighten and truck and forget about it

A saddle starts with a bridge and the material. I sent @JCLINE84 both and he made this to my specifications. I may never run the leg straps or suspenders, but have the options to do so. Top molle has tight and loose loops. He captured my sewn bridge loop... I'm loving it. This is the 4th saddle I've bought from Jamie. I still own two.
If you feel like the current design are missing something, get with Jamie and he can probably build you what you're looking for.

Edit. Didn't realize tapatalk is down. Pics to follow.

No belt on this one??

It has the std 1.5in webbing belt with cobra buckle... maybe just blends in and the buckle is open.

I need some measurements off the orion, who is willing to give me those?
