Pursuit platforms

New pictures!!
This feels way more sturdy just in my hands for sure. Looks like the main addition was a center inside stability piece.

I’ll be getting on this tomorrow!

So it looks like they molded a solid vertical wall between each half. How think is it and does it improve stability?

Most of my stability was on the corners, with the outer two bars bending, this may work. I’ll know when I get on it tomorrow.

I have a scale. Anyone know what the 1st gen weighed? Without OCB strap?

I’m impressed!

I’ll have a video on YouTube today at some point.

This thing feels great and the corners are strong! Well done pursuit.

Attached are pictures of corner pressure and weight with cam buckle and 2 ROS steps added.

They've got the Gen2 photos replaced on some of their website.

It's too late in the season now for me to change but assuming the world isn't glass, some bio-bug doesn't kill us and my paycheck is still worth something, I'll have to pick one up.

Pursuit said if the testing goes good with the 3 he had made with the new mold, he would place an order in the next couple weeks for a new batch to sell.

I like this one. About to head out for a few hours and get on it!

Well, sat for 2 hours tonight, and I must say! This thing is going to be my go to! Very comfortable and didn’t give or budge. I had deer all over me tonight so I was on all edges of this thing!

I’m glad I could help Pursuit out and give you all an honest review of a new saddle Hunter.

I have a Rebel fab 1 stick as well and I’ll take this over that to the woods any day!

I bought one based on the reviews/feedback on this site. Pleasantly surprised on how well it works. Handles side pressure well, better than my Cruzr Mini-Seeker and is very comfortable. The compliance in the plastic helps with foot comfort. I use with a Squirrel step on each side and find it very versatile. Packaged with Tehrd One Sticks, it is a very light, easy to use system.

I simply secure it like a loose fitting belt that sits on my saddle when I climb. Great for 3 hrs. or less. I would probably bring a slightly bigger platform if I were doing a longer sit. One of the nice features is that it is quiet. If you bang with climbing stick, buckle, carabiner....it is a quiet, muted sound.

My only complaint is that when I used it in extreme cold, 12 degrees, it squeaked when I shifted my weight. It is silent in all of my other sits, 25 degrees and warmer.

Exactly how I use mine. I’ve gone a little longer 4/5 hrs with no issues. This is my go to platform!

Do you have the 1st edition? Or 2nd with the added support for corner pressure?

I think it is a first addition, I'll include a pic. I an 190 - 195# and have some flex but I think the flex is why the platform is so comfortable. I find it considerably more comfortable than my OOAL scout.

Hmm....might have to give this thing a try.

What's the size side to side and tree to end? I don't think that is on the website!
