Good write up, seems fairly straightforward. The machine is supposed to be in good condition, but you never know with FB marketplace.A dremel tool will make a longer needle into a shorter needle if all other dimensions are the same.

I like this one and OBO. It looks Japanese, I think. Now that I know what I'm looking for (ish), there's several for sale not too far from me.Log into Facebook

Can't seem to find a model number for this one. Serial number searches haven't turned up anything yet.I like this one and OBO. It looks Japanese, I think.
I have a Morse and it has controls similar to that. The Morse was made in Japan and I would be willing to bet this Janome is as well. It is my best machine that has zigzag. Sews through webbing like a champ. I paid $60 for this Morse and I would do it again. Can't seem to find a model number for this one. Serial number searches haven't turned up anything yet.

A plastic gear would turn me off as well.I dug around, based on the appearance and serial, it looks like a Janome 672. Looks like it may have some plastic gears in it. A deal breaker for me, but certainly not for all.
I'm not interested in anything with plastic gears. Thanks for the model number, that turned up a lot of info.I dug around, based on the appearance and serial, it looks like a Janome 672. Looks like it may have some plastic gears in it. A deal breaker for me, but certainly not for all.

The 99K is the short harp version of the 66. Very good machine and great if you don't have a lot of space.Log into Facebook
