All of my post season scouting in 2020 was done with a child on my back so I found lots of 'deer sign' but not a ton of buck sign. I've seen a ton of deer (way above my past two years average) the first five sits of the season because of it but these observation type sits aren't going to be killing me any bucks. Here's the lone trail camera picture

I found this trail back in July but didn't follow it very far as it got thick quick. Left that cell camera out there for a few months but other than August 10th it was mostly does. The location of the trail camera is marked on my onX with a teal arrow.

I hunted on the edge of that ridge on 9/26 in the afternoon. I had a south wind and set up about 25 yards north east to that trail and could see about 100 yards to my north. Picked a good vantage point to be able to see all around. Marked my approximate location with a yellow X. I saw 7 does filter out about 50 yards to my north and then move northeast along the blue line. I moved some cameras around yesterday and left them at two creek crossings (orange X). The pipeline at the north was just cut in last summer and the clover has really popped up so I'm guessing they're headed that way primarily. Through all of my walking I saw zero fresh buck sign but hopefully it's just too early for that. Next couple weeks will tell. If the cameras don't show anything I'm going to explore more of the west (to the left of my teal walking trail marked) and make sure it's a spot worth hunting more. If not I'll cross it off the list.
