Those deer like that are annoying. I have one and he is a jerk.
I just moved mine to where there's only racoons. Problem solved in a different way lolIf you guys would put your cameras down lower... you wouldn't have that problem lol
Gosh I feel for ya! That one of mine has raccoons, squirrels and.... birds some deer legs. And a cat. Haven't hunted right in that spot. Oh and turkeys. They roosted right there a couple weeks agoI just moved mine to where there's only racoons. Problem solved in a different way lol
What's interesting is he is looking up at your camera...
What's your scope look like? Switching from 100 to 125 heads should have very little impact at 20 yards, something is up! I haven't ever really looked into the mini so my knowledge is limited there but I've messed with sights/ scopes plentyTook the mini and the compound to the range again today. Compound seems to be OK still, it still has this click I can't figure out and need to get to a bow shop about, most people say the limb pockets likely need to be greased? But it's still shooting right as long as I do my part. Also continued sighting in the mini- it's been a bit of a struggle, I am getting pretty consistent with it, however I seem to have reached the limit of the scope's upward adjustment and am still shooting consistently 4" low at 20 yards.
This group was shot at where the "cross hair" on the left side of the center dot hits the dot (I should just paint a dot in the center of the dot lol), groups ok but low,

And this pic shows pretty much every shot on the money left/right, just 4-6 inches lower than the dot/spot i shot at.

I've honestly never adjusted a scope before so I'm sure I am doing something wrong, but will get it sorted over the Thanksgiving holiday as I'll have more time to mess with it and my brother has some experience sighting in his rifle.
I bought the mini on here with the scope and everything mounted already, so assumed it was mounted relatively level (and seemed to be when I put a level on it? and I'd just have to adjust for broadhead weight change (I'm trying to shoot 125s, I believe previously it was shooting 100s). Don't know what I'm doing and need to learn more before I aim this at anything not made of foam but still pleased with my progress, had to stop shooting at the same dot on day 2 because I broke an arrow with too-tight groupings, just in the wrong spot.
Then once I can get dialed in at 20 yards I need to figure out the right hha optimizer strip for 30+
Of course there was 3 deer that wandered out behind the targets again, left of the second pic, zoomed in below on the first 2, third was a button buck that I didn't get on camera

It's a vortex crossfire ii 1x24What's your scope look like? Switching from 100 to 125 heads should have very little impact at 20 yards, something is up! I haven't ever really looked into the mini so my knowledge is limited there but I've messed with sights/ scopes plenty
Do the cams on the mini have any kind of timing?
With 100 MOA adjustment something is up. I'm looking at crossfire ii 1-4x24 though. Hhmmm. Not sure here. Can you loosen those button heads and adjust the whole pic rail up? If so you'll want to move the optics adjustment back down. It's a vortex crossfire ii 1x24
I haven't been messing with the HHA optimizer wheel at all, leave it at lower limit (20 yard mark on tape). Definitely need to adjust how the scope is mounted to it or how it's mounted to the rail on the bow it seems, just wanting to go slow before I mess something up too bad. I didn't expect 25 grains to make a huge difference either but I did get whole new arrows so they may be slightly more different in weight than the stock arrows, I need to look into that but to be honest had somewhat written that off as "within the scope's adjustment range".With 100 MOA adjustment something is up. After seeing your picture I would definitely look at that elevation wheel. Those do adjust the whole rail if I remember right.
I would adjust the wheel, and rail, down as low as it'll go or flat. Get scope back to middle of travel and start over. That kinda stinks but it's my 2 cents. Then use scope for fine adjustments and then they wheel like you would on a compound for longer ranges
It'll probably take a pretty good bump. I had my Xbow leaning against my leg, while texting because I'm a pro hunter, and dumped it over right on the scope.... D'oh! Didn't change anything. I honestly just put it in the back seat and generally treat it poorly and it's never moved.@Horn another random scope question- how gentle do I have to be with this thing? Im not going to chuck it out of the tree or anything, but if I bump the scope on the car seat or something, am I screwed? Or does it take a decent knock, considering we aren't shooting at 1000 yards? I'm a complete newbie to scope's if it's not obvious
I'm the king of bumping and abusing my stuff. So far the only thing that really put my crossbow scope off, was the screws coming lose. This from the guy who dragged his back pack up that was hooked onto the crossbow.@Horn another random scope question- how gentle do I have to be with this thing? I agree. You'll know if you whack it enough to move itI'm the king of bumping and abusing my stuff. So far the only thing that really put my crossbow scope off, was the screws coming lose. This from the guy who dragged his back pack up that was hooked onto the crossbow.
