Looks like @jtw0057’s buck is still the only thing we’ve submitted so far. My season doesn’t start till Oct 15th so still just patiently waiting, but I’m sure deer activity will start picking for everybody else within the next few weeks.

Only been out twice so far and apparently I suck! Will be hitting it this weekend for sure
 
I’ll be back out in a few weeks if I get time. Going out Saturday but that’s more just to get out and not planning on shooting anything. Got a lot of season left, good luck to everyone.

i went out yesterday morning. had a fat girl coming in but she turned off and bedded down in front of my camera for 3 hours to rub it in. im trying to go again tomorrow. My go-to spot is ruined. Theres construction going on right next to the old bedding area. Apparently mariachi music doesnt lure em in
 
have a big slickhead and her twins living right under a stand i set up and left alone (i use it as a platform and wear my saddle dont worry). so feeling good about that.
Sneaking out tomorrow morning on a camping trip with wife's family. Little did they know, the campground they picked is smack dab in the middle of a bow hunting area lol.
 
Headed out after work to quick scout a new spot. Hopefully I find some good sign. Planning on getting out Saturday for a morning hunt. I'm not sure if I will be in a saddle or not. There is a chance for rain and 30 degree weather. If that's the case I will be in a blind.

tie your saddle in to the roof of the blind...
 
I have my son this weekend but am dying to get my first saddle kill.. so i maybe able to sneak out for a bit sat afternoon.. will post pictures if I make it out.. have been focusing on public grounds so im not to burn up the little private land i have access to

First cool morning I’ve got to hunt. Didn’t see a deer but had a ton of squirrels going to town on the oaks. Wish I had a little plinker with me and I could’ve had some fun.

Slapped 5 points on the board for us! Gonna try to get another doe for another 5. And then hopefully trade that in a for a buck!

When this doe was walking in I was like yea I’m not letting 5 points go haha

Season started down here last Saturday, but haven’t been able to get out yet. Things don’t get good down in MS till mid December so I’m in no rush. I’ll be watching for you guys/gals to start smacking some come November.

Yeah I’m usually hunting south Alabama and it’s late January for us when the rut hits full swing.
