TEAM LAST CHANCE

Well I’m on the board already with my first velvet buck ever and first deer of the year. Not a monster but it was our first velvet season and I wanted some fuzzy horns! Unfortunately I was not in a saddle for this hunt as I killed him on the 18th which was before I joined the competition. Our normal season opens this weekend and I plan on knocking down a doe or 2. Maybe one of my shooters will show up too!

Hunting our private farms in north MS if anyone in the area wants to get a hunt in some time

Unfortunately the hurricane residue is going to hit us in TN starting this afternoon. Hopefully it ends by Sunday afternoon. Good luck out there.
 
Same here , MD is expecting alot of rain and wind from the hurricane. I'm hoping maybe to sneak out tomorrow evening if the rain lets up for a few hours.
 
Just got the car packed up. Headed to a small patch of state land that's bow only. Never hunted it, been driving by and with no ambition to hunt it for the past 20+ years.
Until now.. my 6 year old wants to go. Sorry, no saddle but I can't remember when I've been this excited to go out. Got everything together. Just need to have a little luck...

Didn't end up making it out the other morning. Still trying to adapt to the sleep deprivation that comes with having a newborn

For sure going to get out this weekend here in SWMO

I waited an hour and got down. Found arrow. Shot was quartering to a tad and wayyyy down hill so I’m guessing high entrance. There was gut matter on arrow so after I found the arrow and blood, I backed out. I shot at 730. I’ll wait til 11 before going out but I’m confident I heard her crash and thrash. Good news is, I have my very own tracking doggo. So here we go.
