I passed a little buck. Second time in a row I’ve passed this deer. Hopefully he’s still stupid at the end of the season if I don’t kill anything bigger.
Hunting our private farms in north MS if anyone in the area wants to get a hunt in some timeWell I’m on the board already with my first velvet buck ever and first deer of the year. Not a monster but it was our first velvet season and I wanted some fuzzy horns! Unfortunately I was not in a saddle for this hunt as I killed him on the 18th which was before I joined the competition. Our normal season opens this weekend and I plan on knocking down a doe or 2. Maybe one of my shooters will show up too!
Where about? I might be able to squeeze a hunt in some time. I’m in OxfordHunting our private farms in north MS if anyone in the area wants to get a hunt in some time

Best of luck and hope you have a blast with your 6 year old!Just got the car packed up. Headed to a small patch of state land that's bow only. Never hunted it, been driving by and with no ambition to hunt it for the past 20+ years.
Until now.. my 6 year old wants to go. Sorry, no saddle but I can't remember when I've been this excited to go out. Got everything together. Just need to have a little luck...
Good luck to everybody going out. Be safe out there
Didn't end up making it out the other morning. Still trying to adapt to the sleep deprivation that comes with having a newborn
For sure going to get out this weekend here in SWMO
We are very much in the same boat. My first too, born early September. Been a heck of a lot of fun thoughThe struggle is real lol just had our first a few months ago and I’m in the same boat
