I can tell you there was never any ill-will or malicious intent with the launch. Yes, there was a mistake on the site stating they were in stock, and it wasn't properly listed or shown. Unfortunately, with the crazy demand and unforeseen circumstances that we ran into we haven't been able to meet that demand. All of the FAS Packs ordered on November 25th or sooner will be delivered by Christmas, but I can't guarantee anyone who ordered after that will receive their FAS Pack by Christmas. Everyone is being served in the order that their order was received, and there have been no exceptions made to this. If anyone has more questions, please feel free to DM me or post below.

We have the following packs eber x2, kuiu 2300, tool belt, n tool bucket. Build quality is better than all of them. Side pockets n predator panel is nice (we had predator n predator pk). It is a xmas gift for my son.

My reasons are : it's an internet forum and I am free to express my opinion. That's basically it but here's my personal justification if you/others care: I think everyone should know about their business practices because I believe they are making decisions that prioritize making money over keeping their customers safe. Because the company was basically started on this site, I believe they also "owe" the hunting community at least less misleading advertising and recalled products more than the average company, however realistically I just want them held to the same standard as everyone. I also think Hawk operates the same way, however seems to be held to account/"known" as a borderline questionable brand, while tethrd is treated like a top end brand like OOAL or EWO etc. Nobody's acting like those companies aren't profitable, but they also aren't shady (correct me if I'm wrong here). We can all for the most part agree that hawk puts out some shady stuff, but tethrd gets special treatment here and people like me get treated like we are making something up when we point it out. Other people weigh in on threads like this to prioritize making sure people know who manufactures here in the USA vs elsewhere for similar reasons- they aren't directly affected, but are encouraging the general public/rest of the forum to "vote with their dollars" and consider supporting other companies with better safety/transparency records, or in their case, USA manufactured products. (For example, hating on Hawk-nobody goes to hat for them in the way people go to bat for tethrd, but they both put out things that break, because it's more profitable to do that than to spend more R&D money (or other reasons, this is all assumptions).

We remind each other about climbing safely, taking ethical shots etc in a lot of different ways on here, to me this is more of the same, don't buy from a company that cares more about their dollars than your safety, buy from a company that doesn't treat it's customers as a disposable. I hope I've changed at least one person's opinion about that company, probably haven't, won't stop trying though unless the rules get changed and we aren't allowed to weigh in like this. But yep, I get it that I'm likely turning people away/sounding like a snowflake. That's ok, I know I'm a bit of a blowhard at times, know thyself and all. I'd rather people dislike me as a person and didn't die when their equipment breaks than have a lot of dead internet friends.

I don’t guess I’m aware of a “people dying” from
a Tethrd malfunction epidemic. Also, insinuating such if it’s not true should be moderated in my opinion. Particularly regarding a discussion about a non-life loaded product such as a backpack. So then my question is, if it’s a safety thing with you, why we bashing on a thread about a backpack? Who cares if you have a hawk backpack or a Tethrd backpack or any other brand. The Tethrd stuff get bashed because it’s Tethrd.

I can see your point about the subject matter of the thread at hand, as well as the one made by Rutman. Ultimately dollars is dollars and I wish you were all spending them elsewhere, but the only person's money I get to decide how to spend is mine, so time to move on. Hope everyone that ordered a pack gets one when promised.

It does have a strong kifaru color vibe tho... ;)

Just got my shipping notification, should arrive by 12/22 (thursday). Edit: @Rutman i ordered Black Friday so 11/25, my mess up on the date

Just got off the phone with customer service, and was told if you have not received shipping info by now, it will be after Christmas before anyone receives it due to supplier issues…

I'm not sure who you talked to, but that's untrue and there must have been some kind of miscommunication there. Anyone who ordered Black Friday will receive their order by Christmas... If needed, we'll expedite shipping (overnight if needed) for everyone who ordered on that date. We can't guarantee that for anyone who ordered after Black Friday though. If anyone would like to provide their order number, I'd be more than happy to help you out and give you an answer with this. But as we've stated, all Black Friday (11/25) orders will arrive by Christmas.

Do not have a dog in the fight, but I appreciate @Reagan H. for his response and I feel this is a good example of vendors and the community talking it out.
 
Tomorrow is our last day in the office until next Tuesday. There are some orders going out today, but in the name of caution the remaining guaranteed orders and some additional orders from Saturday (11/26) will all be overnighted. We'll be closed this Friday and next Monday for Christmas, so if you need anything please reach out to me via the email in my signature.
