Tethrd One Stick Gen 3's - Season review so far

I will be honest. I really like the stacking pins on the sticks. The stick stack stow whatever they are seem like they will only hold one end of the stick and the other end will flop around. More 3d printed junk.

*These are cut out of solid Derling/Actel these are no longer 3D Printed* I tried to order but they are out of stock, no info. on when they will have more.

You still use the bottom orange pin. Slide it in and the top just clips in. It’s definitely not 3d junk… it’s not the same material.

They’re one ounce per clip

G3D has not replied to 2 requests about availability, anyone else make similar clips to lock the sticks together. I got mine in yesterday and do not like the stacking design. Aligning the pins in the dark will be a hassle.

These work good. The stick clip to attach them to the saddle is garbage. Mine broke the first time I put it on the sticks.

But I really don’t mind the pins. Less of a hassle than you think with a little Vaseline.

I'll try the vaseline. I am shocked by the size and weight difference between the Tethrd One Stick and Beast Sticks. My 3- step aider arrives today, I will use it on the first stick only which will put me the same height as my 4 beast sticks.

I have no trouble at all with the pins.

My 3 step GC One is in the woods somewhere. I didn’t need it on my last set and used it on the one before that so I have some back tracking to do :rage:

Received Gen 3 One sticks today. I’m not a fanboy of anyone and I will say my initial impression is that these sticks are amazing. That’s if they hold up. I don’t have reason to think they won’t other than they are just so light. I have only tested one on a tree, but I can tell these will be my go to mobile set. If first impressions mean anything, I think Tethrd hit it out of the park with these. Guess I’ll need to stealth strip them and get an aider. Looking forward to first use this week. If I have any revelations, I’ll drop some feedback. I’m still keeping my beast sticks though. At least for now.

I noticed the tubes are supposed to have some kind of shrink wrap on them. Does this work as well as stealth strips for silencing?
