They are packaged in China and shipped. Smells of dirty clams when you open the bag.
The Chinese must of eaten American the day they shipped yours!

I will say as much as I bash this company, it does sound like their taking care of the customers with the warrantys. Every company there ever was has made a dud from time to time. Its how you respond to it that makes the company.
My original beasts bent like silly putty. Mario made it right quickly. That's what I'm looking for in a company
My reply was to the rivet breaking or glue failing, not the fact that the stick did not work. I don’t recall Tethrd ever stating that glue was used to hold the Dynalock button on, mabee the steps but never the button.
Has anyone else had issues with a stick breaking out of the thousands of ONE sticks sold? If a step has a little wobble doesn’t mean it has failed, if that were the case there was thousands of guys last season that climbed all hunting season long with broken sticks… how can you climb 2 to 3 times a day for 7-45 days of hunting with a stick that has failed and is broken?
Yes if the sticks came apart it failed, but a little wobble, no.
What happened? Also I'm curious why the beast stuff has been on sale for so long especially during peak season? They floundering? The beast gear customer service is now terrible. They must of had to replace to much broken crap. I won’t be buying anything from them in the future.
Lol, don't fly in small airplanes .....most everything in the fuselage is held together by "glue".I'd pay even more than they are charging now if they could figure out how to make them not wobble and get rid of that dumb roll pin.
I remember riding carnival rides as a kid and noticing only cotter pins were keeping me alive. Don't want to return to that.
Hard to say if the stick failed or if there was no rivet in the back of the Dynalock button in the first place.
Last year I received one Gen1 stick that was new and had no rivet in the Dynalock button, so I contacted Tethrd and they sent me a replacement stick.
when saddle hunters spend a lot of money, they are used to something that gives them confidence, not 'well, it seems to work'
we are only aware of a small handful of the tethrd sticks sold, so we might not know about some massive failure
further, things that aren't super well built go along for a while without massive failures all the time
lastly, using something that makes you uneasy because you haven't heard of a major failure isn't great reasoning for those more risk averse
If we discount the quality issues and Tethrd.
I dont see this stick as aider friendly. Dosent look to me that you could use a Versa style aider, cable aider or a naider swader.
I personally like a versa style aider.
Aiders attached to the stick may swing in the wind, and I have been told they can alert deer.
Looks good def the aider I'd use if I had those sticks. Versa aider is by far the best on the market. No idea how people can continue to use cable aiders when the versa is infinitly lighter, more compact, stays connected to your foot. Locks in nicely when you push your toes into the bark. There's no disadvantagesThis one works well. Backwoods Mobile Gear.

Someone asked if there had been a failure of any Gen 1 or Gen 2 ONE sticks and I am sharing what I found. However folks want to interpret those findings is up to them I suppose.
I'm not here to say anyone's Tethrd One sticks will fail, or won't, either.
I will say that I don't accept the wobble, the thought process of "breaking in sticks" seems obtuse to me, and I don't have a lot of confidence given the way Tethrd manages narrative.
Yet, there is a lot I like about the concepts Tethrd is using for these sticks. For example the the way standoffs and button are captured around the tube. It's been a problem for them but at the same time if it could be done really well, it is a strong design. Probably in the case of the detached dynalok button, it saved this dude's ass.
Am I reading right that’s it’s for all of them?
Well shoot….
