The official saddle hunting fanny pack /lumbar pack thread

I admit the molle is tight but if you pull and stretch you should be able to get it in if not the get a piece of webbing 3/4 attatch it to pouch and use tri glides to attatch. I was able to slide my 3 throphy line pouches in but I had to work it in i use a needle nose pliers to pull thru. I wish they made the spacing 1 1/4” and then stitch then their would be no problem

I tried the needle nose pliers. No dice. In the end I returned it with a suggestion they use standard spacing on the pals webbing for compatibility reasons. Other than and some of the stitching on the bedroll straps, it was a nice pack.

I plan on using EWO pouches as TL doesn’t seem to have them in stock right now. I don’t use a Doyle’s so that doesn’t really bother me. The top and bottom compartment straps have me all sorts of excited, now I don’t have to bug @always89y to sew something in the middle of the season.

You’ll like it. I’m a big fan of mine. Everything you need and nothing you don’t…MOLLE coulda been installed better, but it works

I dont have a Doyals (sp) but I use this summit one I got a long time ago… I just clipped it on these two adjustment straps… I’m not even sure what the steps are for haven’t played with them.. I climb with bolts and a drill and use a predator platform with this pack I can literally walk to a tree and reach in water bottle pouch grab drill and bolts and start climbing… idk if any of u guys still use a hang on but the other day I was scouting and preset a tree with my predator… I went back to my truck and jumped to another wood lot and strapped my novix helo on it and it carried it awesome.. next time I take my hang on out I’ll snap a pic.

No problem I been looking for the perfect pack that is smaller and platow is close but better than most and will do what I need it to do. Fully loaded up with my day hunting with my 1 stick set up I’m at 17# and that’s doable

My old MPI international pack is sorta of a lumbar mod, just extend the shoulder straps, nothing special, a 15.00 flea market find and works great for now. Its has light weight saddle cloth construction which I put a piece of white closed cell 1/4" foam in the bottom of the main compartment. My recon I wear in, the shi1kar is on the bottom w/ a 2 step aider. Sometimes I just carry the stick but it wide enough to cover my predator XL. If its cold I remove the big dump pouch inside and I just strap to the side of the pack where the side adjusters are w/ the orange nite-ize . I'll then put my cabelas Berber fleece in there. The other 2 pockets and the 2ea side pockets hold everything else. Until I figure out what I truly like this serves the purpose. The top main compartment only has one zipper and what I hate.

Here is the little bear pack. Used it 2 years now. This year I half a$$ sowed on some clips to the shoulders to mimic the platow. Works great. Fully loaded ready to one stick it's 12lbs.
I wanted the platow but already had this pack and decided to mod it on the cheap.
When I hit the tree pack never hits the ground.Screenshot_20221011-065020_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20221011-065004_Gallery.jpg

Does anyone know the Kifaru Fanny packs? I can’t remember their name but I only see one on their website. Are they limited run or something? Thanks
