With your sewing skills, just buy some wide hammock material from ripstopbytheroll. Hyperd xl...about 3 yards should do. It is really easy to make a hammock. About 30 minutes if you sew and less if you cut and do the fold method. Some potential here. The Eno is 112 inches. Need to find a hammock under 96" or a donor that I can shorten up. Plenty of cross anchor points that are solid. Still going to put the cot in, but this is for the 2nd guy if needed.

Thanks! Ive been doing some reading up. Hammock DIY is a whole nother rabbit hole to dive into! I am going to make one for sure. It would easily make a less than 8 foot hammock comfy due to the width of the fabric. It should cost about $30 for materials to make the hammock.

you need a badass decal for the hood.
Ya, im kind of for the sleeper look as well. Try'n to stay incognito.you need a badass decal for the hood.
Hell, Ill spread the wealth! You come pick it up, hunt with it for a week...if its here. Chances are, it wont be! This van has hauled my kids and theirs. Its been a starter vehicle and a fall-back-to vehicle for several of my kids. Its hauled groceries, furniture (my son moved his whole family and stuff in this van), countless dead animals (game and pets) and numerous live animals (game and pets). Its been bled in, peed in, popped in, vomited in, and almost birthed in. Its had the oil changes religiously every 5000 miles of 6 months. It has gone MONTHS without being driven, and had the hell driven out of it in spurts. I put all terrain tires on it for the past 4 years, and might go a little more aggressive. It has been in the woods and mud more than most city boys 4x4 diesels.I’m more for the sleeper look. Like, “what’s this mom van doing on this secluded back road 100 miles from the nearest soccer field.” look.
But that’s what’s so great about this project. We all get to add our own flare. @always89y I’m so glad you decided to do another “sally” and “my stick” project with a flare. The stakes are really high with this one. What a great idea. Two questions: how’s the insurance going to work? Where am I on the list?
Reminds me of Meat Eater Das Boat
No problem. They're super easy to make and tons of info on hammock forums. Any questions just ask. Thanks! Ive been doing some reading up. Hammock DIY is a whole nother rabbit hole to dive into! I am going to make one for sure. Thanks agian!
You are so right. But, the inner me will not allow me to go to that level of gutting...yet. also a bit concerned about road noise. With the rear side panels off you would gain some clearance/ useable space and give u access to the subframe "beefie" spots you can use to mounts things
