Trophyline mission

To the question about the backpack straps ... I’m in the same boat. I took a quick look, wasn’t impressed, won’t be using them. I will transplant straps from another stand/platform. Haven’t decided yet and mostly I step platforms to my pack, but I do like to have straps on the platform too in case I am going somewhere quick after work and don’t need a larger pack. Not sure yet what I will do exactly, but the straps that come with it aren’t impressive. Of course, none of us are buying it for the straps, so I can certainly excuse that.

Yep, same here. Side pressure is great. Every bit as good as my assassin l, which has been the gold standard to me, and better than all others I have tried. I just came in from a climb and some shooting. Really like the shape and the “tred”; the contours really make footing solid when I move around and shift and try different angles. Very versatile. I like a nice size platform, don’t mind carrying a little weight (this thing is pretty light weight to me). Still very impressed after being up in the tree and doing some shooting.

I like the powder coated post too. I will spray paint it, add some stealth strips or paracord to quiet it. I don’t envision myself wanting to do much else to it.

I haven’t quite figured out I want to pair sticks with it yet. Going to mess with that now. Going to see if I can make it pack nicely with sticks of various makes and models.
Let us know how the LWCG minis pack up with it if you would please.

Supposed to get mine tomorrow. Dang I cant wait...we are experiencing a little cool snap (below 95*, upper 60's in the AM) and it would be a great time to really get it in a tree.
Going to see how my Heliums stack on it as well.

I tried a few different attempts with the LWCG mini’s. I didn’t find an obvious great way to do it. Also, I don’t have any lone wolf minis, but I played around with a full length to get an idea of how the trophy line minis might work. The clearance over the post using the spot on the platform for the sticks seems really tight. I am concerned that if I stealth stripped them it wouldn’t fit right - and I think this will make too much metal on metal contact for my obsessive commitment to quiet to tolerate. So far, I think I will likely have the sticks attached to the pack separately from the platform. I have a couple packs where this will work.

I tried full length helium’s too. Didn’t find an awesome way to do it.

not sure ... still experimenting. Worst case - will just bungee sticks across the platform like most of us have been doing with stands/platforms and sticks for decades.

I actually don’t mind carrying sticks looped over my shoulder and bow in the other hand on a lot of hints that are less than a mile in, so I am not too concerned about it.

I just got my mission today and there is clearance with the novix minis. I had to check after reading above, no metal on metal with them. I have some EWO sticks coming soon, not sure how I’ll pack those.

That looks like a good way to do the heliums. Will try it today.

Also like the clearance on the Novix sticks picture. Looks like that is a bit more than it looked like with my older lone wolf sticks. Maybe the two are slightly different, despite looking very similar. Ugh . . . may mean I have to order yet another set of sticks :)

Looks great! Mine got shipped from Trophyline today. In your pic, it looks like the aluminum is not as bright as some of the earlier shipments or is that just lighting? How does the weight feel?

The weight feels good..and its the lighting....its hasva shine to it. Going to paint the mission and my hawks at the same time. But it will need to be painted. The post is a dull gray. The size is great to...will strap to my backpack with no problem.

Spots to attach an aider...or knaider swaider
