What did you do today?

I might have overadjusted the height setting of my sight.

That's funny. I should post my first arrow from the other day. I have a single pin slider and didn't look at it before shooting at a line to check my left/right adjustment.
I shot at 22 and had it set to 37. I missed the target completely and stuck it in the ash tree that my target hangs from. I havent excavated it yet,i need to bring a chisel up there.
It was perfect left to right though.
I think the arrow is ok too,yay for the heavy setup.

Did u have it looked at or no? Wonder what caused the failure with relatively low mileage

Yep. We were less than 1,000 miles after (exactly a week) the most recent oil change, with proper oil level checked after (I always check that).

The oil ended up well below the dip stick in that 900ish miles with no drips or leaks, we received no low oil warnings, and no engine temp indications.
I really didn’t think the level could have lowered so quickly without a visible leak, so I wasn’t checking the oil again just yet...

The block ended up seizing. The shop pulled the codes and the only code is what came on at the time of the seizing and it was a knock sensor. They couldn’t break the seize, and said it would be $7500 parts and labor to replace it. Vehicle was worth about $4500, so it was a no brainer. Especially after already putting 5,200 into it in December and January. (Breaks, shocks, struts, high pressure fuel pump and sensor, and several other parts replacements based on the mileage)

Cut some aluminum this morning before it got too hot.

Going to work for the Feds. And it’s not exactly a fast process....
Yeah, a buddy of mine started working for one of the acronyms. My dad was a reference for him. Only time I've heard of a reference being contacted. My dad met a guy in a polo shirt at a local coffee shop and answered questions about buddy's life and their relationship for an hour and was thanked for his time.

Creepy. Buddy was a big computer nerd. Think the job was cybersecurity.
