What did you do today?

Went to take my bow in for a recheck of timing and ended up finding that the limb broke (was fine after I shot a couple days ago). Never dry fired, wasn't even shooting when it decided to let go. I knew the bow was prone to having this happen, but kept hope alive I'd be the exception, or that the newer style limbs had already been installed...but definitely thought it'd take a bit longer than this before it let go.

Hopefully it can be repaired before the opener in 3 weeks...

Also @Red Beard, if your kids are into aviation, there is a parking lot viewing area just east of the Cincinnati airport that makes for a nice picnic spot on your way between museums.

Dang bowtech! I had a limb go on mine too. Mine was at full draw. I was the second owner, so I figured I’d be paying for new limbs. The bow shop had to send it into bowtech to get replaced. Needless to say it took prob 6 weeks maybe longer but .... no charge at all. Replaced all 4 limbs no questions asked. I was shocked.

I'm hoping it won't take that long, but not holding my breath. Season opens on the 26th hear, and I'm no longer planning an opening weekend trip.

Luckily I still have my previous setup. I'm needing new arrows for it, but it's still ready to rock if it's called upon. I'm just antsy for the season, and wanted to start out with the one I've been shooting all summer. Awesome to have those thoughts though, thanks!
