What did you do today?

Finally got to try out my Trophyline at more than 2 ft. high. Also used my new Heliums with a 2 step amsteel aider on the first stick and a one step amsteel on the other 3. Only ended up at 17 ft. exactly at my platform with 3 sticks but that was good enough for me on my first time up. Using the sticks is gonna take more getting used to than the saddle for me I think. I'm used to my Summit climber or a ladder stand so the sticks are gonna need more reps no doubt.

My wife and I just watched "IN TIME"
with Justine Timberlake.
I didn't think I would like it but I did.

Definitely a good covid season movie.

Trying to finish chicken coop. Way to much of a perfectionist for carpentry. Now my wife wants to start remodeling kitchen and bathroom. Feel like i may never get to practice with my saddle

Trip to Costco for some essentials. Took a test online for school. Watched some Waco on Netflix with the wife.

Killed privet yet again. 4 hours today. I'm sure I haven't killed all of it but I put a real hurting on it.
I stumbled upon a turkey nest while I was out. The hen was sitting on the nest...she let me get within 5 yards before she scurried out.

I took a ride On the ebike, got her all charged up and loaded in the truck. Put batteries and cards in 4 cameras. Heading for public land in the morning for some more scouting and hanging some cameras. Also gotta change batteries and check cards on the ones I put out there in february

Planted 60 spruce seedlings. Also had to put up gates at each end of my property because people apparently can't read the no trespassing signs on each side of the entrances and think it's fun to spin donuts on the road. :rage:

I liked the 1st part of your post. But I'm not crazy hearing about the local maggots, though.

Spent 2 days trying to get on birds on public land. Hiked 10 miles in 2 days calling, and drove half a tank of gas to not see a single bird.

We finally got a bird gobbling in the last hour, but he was a cross a county road and on the other side of a few houses and wouldn’t cross.

Still had fun, and it’s always enjoyable being out in the woods.

Built half a playset.... in the rain. Man does this suck!

Was going to break in my ugly drum smoker with a pork butt but it poured rain all morning. Need to invest in one of those pop up sports tents ha. Holding off until Tuesday when it's supposed to be sunny and 75.

Is that one of those archery designs draw boards? I was thinking about buying one.
Yes it is indeed. He also sells the same handwheel for $60. I bought it from Grizzly Tools. Wheel and handle was $41. All I had to do was tap it.

What don’t you like about the draw board? My 6 foot section of C-channel and boat winch I am running out of room for and the winch is needing replacement.
