Where did you get that? Looks good!Even cheaper than paracord is braided nylon. I bought a 3000' spool of 1.4mm, which is slightly thinner than the thinner throw lines available which are 1.75mm. So you need to be mindful not to cut into the wood or bark but I haven't gotten it stuck yet. If you do ever get throw line stuck or a rope not passing through a crotch right pull back on the rope side a foot or two and find a stick to wrap the throw line around a few times and use the stick as a handle so your hands dont slip or get cut. I think I paid $15 for 3000' spool, cant beat that!
I also preset multiple trees in one hunting spot partly for different winds but mostly so I can adapt to any new sign changes day of, or to suit my fancy that morning. It also serves as back up if I do accidentally cut a notch in a limb that I cant pull a rope through or if someone removes a line, which I have never had happen. If you tie(or wedge in bark) your string it wont catch your eye in the wind it'll move like a vine, anchored at top and bottom.
but yeah at $15 dollars for 3000' with an average 25' tie in height, that's 0.25 cent a per tree!
