    Leg Strap Buckles

    Are the leg buckles on a Tethrd/Aero Hunter- style saddle weight bearing? I am getting ready to start another DIY saddle and are trying to source the needed buckles. If the leg strap buckles are there to create the harness and are not load bearing, I will get some 1" ladder locks and call it a day.

    Using safety harness webbing

    I got a couple of unused safety harnesses from a friend. They are the harnesses that come with a tree stand. I am thinking about undoing the stitching and using it to create a saddle/sit drag. Has anyone done this before? And what are the safety concerns? thanks

    Waist packs

    Who uses waist/fanny packs while hunting? What are your thoughts? I was thinking about using a waist pack for hunting stuff and a plastic molle pack frame to haul platform and sticks. I would leave the frame at the base of the tree and wear the pack up
