I always try to look at things in different ways. I stumbled across this jacket and thought that it may be a very very great choice for saddle hunters. If you watch the video let me know if you think it would be worth a try. The side zippers would work well with a bridge. All the pockets are perfect for a saddle hunter and his gear. Am I crazy or on to sometbing?

Got my Proximity jacket in. Very nice jacket. Quiet. Seems very warm. Definitely cut bigger than other Kuiu jackets in the same size. First impressions are good.

I’m with enkriss. I got mine in too. It’s the nicest set of camo I own. I think it will be pretty wind cutting. I tried to blow through it. It was hard to do. Real test will be Mother Nature.

I do think this is Kuiu extending an olive branch to the still hunting world and a nice offering it is.

I have the proximity. I have never had sitka gear, but the word on the street is that proximity sits between the stratus and fanatic of sitka as far as warmth and weight goes. It's not overly bulky imo. Look at this link I posted.

I'm sure it's been mentioned already as it's not exactly brand new, but tried on the Sitka Ambient jacket at a field and stream store. Huge downgrade from the Celsius midi imo. The sleeves and cuffs are garbage compared to the midis.

I tried the new traverse jacket. It’s pretty much the same thing as the midi pants. I sent them back keeping the midi jacket.

I also got the equinox guard hoody and pants. Those are excellent early season wear.

Agreed, Marsupial is hard to beat for bino packs. All of the rest of their gear looks great too, really like the looks of the gun & bow cases.

I saw it at Cabelas and my perception was it looked trashy. Didn't try it on or inspect it or put it to the test, so I can't say much other than my initial impression was not favorable.
