Saddle hunters support thread.

After doing really good this year and not buying much of anything, I got hit by the FL Black Friday bug. I’ve been wanting some cold weather gear for late season Michigan bow hunting outerwear and the Sanctuary 2.0 was too good to resist apparently

Hopefully there’s no buyers remorse!

My k4 2200 pack showed up and it's pretty dang sweet. Hoping to put it to use here soon but I don't know if I'm going to even get out in rifle season due to kid obligations (thinks about the 350 legend gun that I haven't hunted with yet sitting in the closet...). Oh well.

Bought a pair of Sitka mountain pants (half off) on Friday and they should arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to testing the built in knee pads idea although I do still like the latitude/alta strap on variety.

So much for not buying new gear for a while lol

I finally unboxed my K4 and adjusted for fit. Looks and feels great. Got a belt pouch too. Might switch over from my bandit for rest of late season to test it out!

This followed me home Friday.i think i may have a problem. I just can’t be content with what i have. Always looking for better.

I thought I would make it through this year. After climbing a few trees this year I decided I have had all I can take of aiders.
I wanted some lite sticks, 1.5 lbs or less. Broke down and ordered a 4 pack of Novix single step mini sticks, $186 to my door.

Made it through Black Friday but have an Ape Canyon Pioneer saddle ordered and just ordered a new EDP with the Trophyline 20% off deal and I had some rewards points to use on my credit card. Probably could have done without but also could have done a lot worse.

Yet another great thing about getting into saddle hunting has been watching those credit card rewards rack up. When you think about it I’m really just creating a savings account to take the family on a dream vacation.

Slowly selling some stuff. At a nice discount usually  ( worth it! ) I'm down to a single tote of climbing related soft goods. I could probably even fit my current saddle that's in my truck right now.... only 1 backup and a full size drey :fearscream:.

Anyone need a mission? I can't believe it but that darn 2tc thing might have the Timber Ninja days numbered :astonished:

A Kifaru Longhunter, old but from reviews its a great pack. Incase anyone is looking for a bargain. I'm not seller, I would of considered getting it just for the frame itself if I already didn't have enough packs for 5X 'backup'.

Well I said that I was completely set up with everything that I need for the foreseeable future…. That changed on Thursday when I sat in a buddy of mines JX3 that he bought from a member here. That was a $345 mistake. I ordered one last night without all the ropes and ordered an Amsteel bridge for it. I saw the light…

Hey, now that's an idea! Lol

The pnuma sale is a beautiful siren song... need pnuma pants...

I'm 2 click away from pulling the trigger on some new camo. Started off looking at the late season gear, for only around $120 for pants and a jacket.

I like the camo pattern so much I've added mid season gear, early season gear, gloves, muff, balaclava, and a hat. Now up over $400.

Help!

Go hunting. Not Cruze the internet for deals to hunt.

Setting a fine example. Keep up the good work!!

What camo is it?

True timber is having a huge sale almost 50% off all their stuff. I picked the Strata pattern.

All my current gear is cheapo walmart type stuff so I figured this might be a way to dip my toe into something a little higher quality without refinancing to afford first light, scent lok, or Sitka lol.

I done froze my tail off too many times. Want some warmer stuff.
