Tethrd Gen3 One Sticks $299

God.....I'm really tempted. Glad I dont have have quite enough in my hobby's saving to get it. But getting just one is tempting too...argh!

They ruined me on other sticks and climbing methods. I was predominantly SRT and then I got these. They are just so light I just don’t carry anything else. I even sold my onestick in favor of these.

I was making a joke.
But if they did move the manufacturing to the USA and cut the weight, how many would they sell?
I lived through the buy the treestand company and move the manufacturing to China. In almost every case the China product weighed more because of metal quality.

It didn’t weigh more because of the metal quality. The sidewall of the tubing got thicker from the inch to metric conversion and then rounding up to the nearest equivalent.
 
I was tempted my self but have 6 now and just picked up a 2nd .5 on classified. 299 is a great deal and they are awesome sticks so far no problems!

No not that much.
I had a Non Typical hang on made in Arkansas. It weighted 10 lbs. I still have it.
Ameriastep purchased the company, moved manufacturing to China. A friend purchased the China model (before the recall that closed Ameriastep) and that sucker was over 13 lbs.
Then the cheap metal broke and Aneriastep went bye/ bye.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. Honestly what holds me up is when people keep saying “so far no problems” maybe it doesn’t make sense but it’s like “yea they haven’t failed like we were expecting “. I’m sure this has happened with many products we all love today though.
 
I’ve not seen a single issue with the Gen 3’s… if there was, we’d definitely hear about it. I’m confident they made these right or I wouldn’t have bought 3 sets and sold all my Beast’s. I think they’re the best sticks made at the moment.

I agree. I haven’t seen one complaint on the gen 3’s

I hear you!! I didn't buy them when they first came out because I was very leary about them with the pin and glue! After the release of the jen3 and reviews I decided to go with them. With guys that weight a lot more than I do not having any problems at my weight 140lbs really don't think I will have a problem with them and they did take care of the problems they had.
