Tethrd One Sticks Gen 2

The hawk heliums are/were awesome and stack well. Maybe the new ones suck since they got blown up due to saddlehunter.com so they just rushed inferior sticks out the door (sound familiar?) They just dont cost the cool kid price and we all have an addiction to fixing things that are not broke. Or as we are seeing from some folks, fixing things until they are, in fact, now broke. Just get the dam heliums, cut them to your size, number 1-2-3 and a X on the top so you stack them the same every time. Put a canopy tie through the top and bottom slit on the bottom of the stack stick to secure them tight as a nice bundle of 3. Whats the freakin deal

Ahhh, a new hope, how ironic.

So which will it be:

- Once this (platform) is operational, (they) will crush the rebellion with one stroke.

or

- You have failed me for the last time

Feel like I've seen this movie a few times
No more along the lines of them hyping up a feature of the product like a chemical weld, only to sell us something else like the feature didn't really matter after we get it fetchimage (1).jpeg
And us schmucks paying for itd0oai4634z911.jpg

Not telling anyone what to do, but if I owned some I would be wondering, can Tethrd survive this? How many sticks did they sell?
What is it going to cost them to ship and test each stick? How many of the returned sticks will break? Can they back charge the manufacture?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't Greg (co-owner) a long time business consultant in regards to social media before founding Tethrd? I wouldn't say they lack general business acumen if they HAVE been incredibly successful. That's seem contradictory mostly.

l think the main issue is that their products are not getting enough testing time due to the company's principle of trying to push things out as soon as possible and be the first/greatest/newest/etc.

The main issue is not them offering these things. The main issue is consumers consuming it, making it a viable business model. It's the same with fast food, soft drinks, drugs (legal and illegal), guns, you name it. Human nature is to hoard and refine resources. We're excellent at it. We've created incredibly powerful resources and have an economic system to share those resources.

It's easy to say "mcdonalds kills people." Slightly less easy to say "mcdonalds kills people, they shouldn't be allowed to do business." Even less easy to say "mcdonalds kills people, they shouldn't be allowed to do business. This will put a quarter million people out of a job. And will evaporate the wealth of tens of thousands of investors who's retirement has interest in Mcdonalds stock."

Tethrd puts out products with presales, tests products on consumers with consumers' consent, has all these issues. Not in spite of their consumers. But BECAUSE their consumers consume. They aren't the issue. WE are the issue. Like @BackSpasm said, they aren't holding a gun to your head.

I put a buy it now option on ebay for the one sticks I tried out for a season at 1.25 sale price when they were out of stock. They sold for over double sale price. Tethrd didn't do that. Goofy consumers with goofy habits and priorities did.

It sucks for the new ones getting into the saddle hunting... tethrd seems to be the "biggest " or atleast the most sponsored.. I dont have anything from them and im glad after seeing all the problems with their brand

To the best of my knowledge, Greg was active duty military when he founded Tethrd and has since retired from active duty. Thats not exactly high level business acumen.

Right. While we may be able to influence how other people spend their money, we can't control it. The only thing I can control is myself, which is why I will not purchase anything from Tethrd. I am not supporting this business model, nor this company. My money will go elsewhere. Pretty simple.

I really hope I get my return label soon before Tethrd runs out of money on refunds!

We all need to drive to Cruzr headquarters and picket outside with signs that read "Release the lightweight sticks!"

Yup. Reference this post from February in another thread......" However, this isn't the first time, and probably won't be the last, where this particular company has failed to deliver a quality product, with defects identified either immediately upon opening the package, or shortly after some field use. (Want some quick examples: the original predator platforms breaking, One stick glue attachments, One stick roll pins, One stick stacking pins, Skeletor orange stacking pins, Skeletor bolt length......I'm sure others could add more to this list.....)"
