Tethrd Skeletors

Did anyone mention these sticks are awesome? 2 step aider and can comfortably step on the top step. Anybody using these finding out theyre becoming their new favorite stick?
100 percent. I’ve sat now 5-6 sits. Double aider on bottom, single on second, next two sticks as is. I can’t come up with any complaints.

Granted I came from a set of Muddy Pros, but I can’t imagine a set of, 100 dollar per stick, sticks would be significantly better than these.

Every other part of my system would get tinkered with before I look at sticks again.

I wasnt sure how i was going to like the stacking system with the pins but its pretty nice. The steps being able to be folded is a pretty nice too.

Yeah they're pretty slick. I have resorted to putting them on a sling and deploying them as I go climbing. I got tired of sticks hanging off my saddle and the way these sticks attach makes it easy to deploy on the climb.
You happen to have a pic, maybe? I'm working on how to carry them up, but not on my waist. TIA

I was taking some pics of my Stealth strips applied and thought I'd answer this question for you while I was at it. Hope this helps.

EDIT: And for what it's worth, this exact sling is on sale at Camofire today for $7:

That's great, thanks!!

anybody know the heights you can get with one step aiders? Also any methods of attaching them to yourself on the climb up, just got them and looking for ideas.

I typically use shock cord for sticks but the standoffs on the Skeletors shredded it pretty quickly. These work well.

I place the first stick with double amsteel aider on the tree. The second has a single aider, I put my arm through the aider and use the aider as a loop to carry up. The 3rd and 4th I leave pinned together and hanging off the saddle via a paracord loop on a belt clip.

My hunting height is to cover. Some times that’s 12 feet, sometimes that’s 20. I’ve not experienced the inability to get to a covered hight with these sticks. That mostly includes late season hunting with all the foliage dropped.

Hope that makes sense. These sticks are fantastic.

I’ve got a set that’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully they have the new stand offs.

Guys it takes 8 weeks for a container to arrive from China in normal times. Plus manufacturing time
They sold you these sticks knowing about the stand off issues and they shipped them anyway. Great customer service.

"first one's on us".....:tearsofjoy:

Unless, it's not...

Shame though, imo, may be their best offering to date.

There's a lot to like in this design, not all due to the team at Tetherd. But some very much so.

So the question I have is, why the bent-standoff problem?

Poor manufacturing? Thoughts?

Gotta be asofter heat treat then it is supposed to be or totally wrong grade of aluminum to bend like that on a set stick. I don't trust the Chinese to hold specs and not change stuff up on the fly. They are pretty shady on alot of the manufacturing stuff, substitute stuff here and there all the time. We get stuff at work all the time out of spec. We even got some overseas radioactive pipe one time. Good stuff.
