Harrisburg, Pa Outdoor Show - Great American Outdoor Show

Yeah looking at it in person I did not see any reason to do the same. The additional 7 ounces lighter isnt a big deal for me personally
Honestly it felt heavier than 3.5, to the point, I asked if this was a prototype or the finished product. He said it was basically ready to go.
Any one see the spyhigh guys across from LWCG? trail cam hanging system? I watched them demo for 2 days, sold me. I had to buy it lol I am sure it will take some practice but a great ida.
Here's the website ...https://www.spyhighmounts.com/

I expected the show pricing to be a bit more lucrative from some of these vendors. After you factor in parking and ticket prices you aren't saving much, if anything at all.
Totally agree . I was going to buy a set of Tethers Skeletor climbing sticks but the price was the same as on their web site for every thing. If the prices were a little lower I would have bought them . Even 5 bucks lower . I will buy them from my local bow shop when they're order from Tethrd comes in.

Was there today and saw Jefferson 10940 at the Trophyline booth. It was good to me him in person. Trophyline makes some great saddle hunting products. If anyone is there you have to stop and check them out. Also got a chance to shoot Hickory Creek vertical crossbow. That thing was awesome and is worth a try.
It was great to finally meet Art! It was nice to see a Hangtime hoodie!!

I think I'll bring my Mission climbing platform along too. I'll stop by the Trophyline booth and let you guys take a look, maybe it'll spark some ideas. I had a brief convo about it with someone at their booth yesterday. He said that was cool and they love hearing about stuff like that. I'm about 99% sure I've finally got it how I want it now anyway.

I have always thought the mission would be a great platform for climbing innovation. That sounds really cool.

Anybody stop at the Kuiu stand and if so did they have many backpacks on hand? I've been tirelessly backpack shopping and think I've settled on the Venture 2300 but would really like to see it. I don't often go up to the show anymore because I can't stand a crowd, but if I can put my hands on the pack I want and a couple climbing sticks I think it would be worth it.

Kuiu had a bunch of backpacks there, nothing that you could take home with you. They were offering 15% off with free shipping If you purchased any Kuiu item at the show.

Son of a whisker biscuit. I was trying to hold off on buy a pack until spring/summer sales but if they'll give me 15% off plus free shipping that's a done deal. Thanks for the info.

Checked out the new Tethrd Vader and it seem pretty nice, I would expect the final version to be metal reinforced on the teeth. Also the LWCG FIX is about the same size as a Predator.

Carl from Tethrd said they have plans in the future to have a small step or winged bracket that can be swapped out with the top bracket on the predator platform for a small step to rest a foot on.

The new ONE sticks from Tethrd will have a aluminum cap that is press fitted into the top and bottom of the one stick to replace the glue and there will also be a small tab on the bottom of the stick similar to the one on the bottom of the Skeletors for wrapping the amsteel rope up.

The show was nice but if I were to go again I would wait till lunch time or later, things aren’t as packed later in the day, those are some things I checked on today.
Also you could preorder the .75 from LWCG,
there show special was $525 with free shipping and they said late spring till they ship.

For any guy that had some complaints on the beast stand I think the .75 will be perfect for them... It was longer then the .5 and the seat size is going to be between the 1.0 and .5
If I don’t go back to the .5 I will definitely be getting a .75View attachment 61534View attachment 61535
Did they give an eta on the new one sticks?

Is that the original predator or the XL being compared beside it for size reference?

Did they say what the weight of the .75 was going to be?

Yeah, Vader looked smaller than I expected from the photo. A little wider than the predator, which I think will be welcomed. But not full Dark Helmet sized.

That’s what I was thinking, I thought I heard it was XL sized. Looks wider than the OG predator but shorter, which I personally like.
