in s saddle with a heavier coat

early on , my jacket seemed not to be an issue. things don't seem to "fit" as well with a larger coat, and it wants to ride up like a waist jacket. . Only happened one, next time out temps went up and again , lighter jacket, I wonder if I have to open up my saddle a bit and sort of tuck the coat...

    getting to the top

I have had a blast this year hunting over dekes during the rut, and actually the only thing I did wrong was on one shot, I have an HHA slide sight, and it was not tightened down and I shot for 30 instead of 20, and on the other one, i always use a thumb release. this year , I lost it in the...

    about the Ropeman 1

I want to make a trip to REI, to sniff around, I would like some rope to make a new linesmen belt, and a new teather. I want some tub webbing and maybe a ropeman 1. Now, here is the question. If you were going to buy a ropeman1, would it be for your belt, or teather? The reason I ask, is I can...

first time out w/ the new h2

I went on a 4 day hunt with my new saddle from H2, and for the first hunt I absolutely hated it. It felt like I had barbed wire around each thigh, it seemed like I was doing an isometric work out the entire time. I decided to re locate the next day to a bit larger tree, That made a huge...

    muddy staggers and a platform

I got my new saddle, and am getting other equipment ready. I went to sports store , and found 2 kinds of climbing sticks . one sat tight to the tree like my 4 ladder sets do, and one sat 6 in. out from tree, (muddy), and I realized they formed a 6x6 platform. They are square tubular steel, so I...
